4. Christ Church Shimla

Christ Church is one of the enduring legacies of the British Raj. Christ Church was designed by Colonel J. T. Boileau in 1844, and the cornerstone was laid on 9 September 1844 by Bishop Daniel Wilson, Bishop of Calcutta. The church was consecrated on 10 January 1857 by Bishop Thomas Daltrey, Bishop of Madras.
5. Daranghati Sanctuary
The Daranghati Sanctuary is at the 5th spot in the list of Top Places to Visit in Shimla. It is located in Shimla District Rampur Bushahr, Himachal Pradesh, India. It is situated on Jakhoo Hill, Shimla’s highest peak, 2.5 km east of the Ridge at a height of 2,455 m above sea level. The Jakhoo Temple is famous for its omnipresent deity-lord Hanuman. Each year, a festival is held on Dussehra, before 1972 the festival used to be held at Annadale. Locals believe that Hanuman god rested atop the hill while he was flying to the sanjeevani hills to find the medicine that could save lord Lakshman life during the Ram-Ravan war. The temple is accessible by foot, horse, taxi or ropeway.
Kufri is at the 7th spot in the list of Top Places to Visit in Shimla. It is a small hill station in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh state in India. It is located 20 km from the state capital Shimla on the National Highway No.22. The name Kufri is derived from the word kufr meaning “lake” in the local language. The highest point in the surrounding region, Kufri has a Himalayan wildlife zoo which hosts rare antelopes, felines and birds including the Himalayan monal, the state bird of Himachal Pradesh until 2007.
The hill station delights nature lovers and adventurers alike. Kurfi along with some places around Shimla once belonged to the Nepal kingdom. Himalayan Nature Park and Indira Park are two famous places to see here some of the wildlife found in Himalayan Nature Park includes black beer, brown bear, leopard, musk deer and ibex. 8. Indian Institute of Advanced Study
Indian Institute Of Advanced Study is at the 8th spot in the list of Top Places to Visit in Shimla.It is a research institute based in Shimla, and is marvellous work of Scottish Architecture. The set up by the Ministry of Education, Government of India in 1964 and it started functioning from 20 October 1965.
